Trash and Recycling Services

Welcome to the Evolution Disposal Family!

The Lenah Run HOA has contracted with Evolution Disposal to provide trash, recycling, and yard waste services for your community effective January 1, 2024. The following information is provided so that we
may better serve you.

SERVICE DAYS: Trash will be picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays, recycling will be collected weekly on Fridays. Yard Waste and Bulk items will be collected on Tuesdays; Please stage all items at the curb the night before your pickup day.

Our family and team have a deep-rooted passion for the waste management industry.  We have made trash our life and passion for several generations and together we have decades worth of experience. Please see below for best practices, rules, and guidelines. These parameters ensure we can properly perform our duties.

TRASH COLLECTION: Each home is permitted to set out one trash container each pickup day. We prefer trash to be bagged to make it easier on our pickup crews. This also helps keep the community cleaner.

Please place your container outside the night before collection.

We do not accept the following items in trash bins:
Paint, concrete, dirt, rocks, sand, tires, car batteries, large metal items, televisions, gas, oil, hazardous waste, fluorescent tube light bulbs, explosives, flammable items/liquids, animal carcasses, manure, live ammunition, weapons, oxygen/helium/propane tanks, freon, mulch, sod, firewood, stumps, bags over 60 pounds, and construction/remodel debris like, tiles, shingles, lumber, plaster, bricks, and drywall.

YARD WASTE COLLECTION: Each home is permitted to set out up to 10 yard waste bags per week.  Yard waste must be in paper yard waste bags. Yard waste in plastic bags will not be accepted. No dirt, rocks, sticks larger than 6 inches in diameter.

RECYCLING COLLECTION: Each home is permitted to set out one recycling container per week. Recyclables cannot be bagged but rather placed loose inside the container. If recyclables are bagged, then recyclables may not be collected. Cardboard boxes may be flattened and placed next to the container. If there are more than 4 flattened boxes please bundle the boxes together.

Evolution Disposal adheres to the guidelines set by Loudoun County. Please see below for more
information on these guidelines.

Accepted Recyclables: Plastic bottles, plastic jugs, plastic jars, clean food & beverage cans, paper, brown paper bags, newspaper, magazines, flattened cardboard & paperboard, glass jars and bottles.
Any items not listed above should not be included with curbside recycling. You can see a list of unacceptable recyclables below.

Not Accepted for Recycling: Food/food waste, any items that have food on it, plastic bags of any type.

Recyclables cannot be placed in plastic bags. Any plastic item that is not a bottle, jug, or jar. Styrofoam, pesticide/herbicide containers, pool chemical containers, hazardous material containers, motor
oil/antifreeze containers, pressurized tanks, batteries, electronics, light bulbs, diapers, clothing, textiles, pizza boxes, napkins, tissues, paper towels, paper plates, shredded paper, twine, string, wire, cables,
cords, hoses, medical waste, syringes, needles, rubber hoses, latex gloves, face masks, or scrap metal.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT PAGE: Homeowners can visit the customer support page on our website (www.evolutiondisposal.com) to request a large item pickup, request an additional bin, schedule additional trash to be picked up, report a missed pickup, view the holiday schedule, see lives updates on delays and more.

LARGE/BULK ITEM PICKUP: In addition to weekly curbside services we also offer large/bulk item pickups. These services need to be scheduled in advance and would gain an additional fee. All items must
be placed curbside for pickup. The fee is based on what needs to be picked up. This fee would be billed directly to the homeowner/resident.
